Williams Field Hockey Comes Back to Win at Bates

LEWISTON, Maine -- Isabel Perry scored in the 59th minute to break a 2-2 tie and send the Williams College field hockey team on to a 4-2 win over Bates on Sunday.   Meredith Wright and Perry each had a goal and an assist for the Ephs, who rallied after falling behind in the sixth minute.   Abby Lloyd and Emma Santucci combine to make seven saves in the Williams goal.   The Ephs (4-1, 3-1 NESCAC) host Springfield College on Wednesday.   Women's Soccer LEWISTON, Maine -- Pittsfield High graduate Ilana Albert registered an assist to help Williams notch a 3-0 win over Bates.   Georgia Lord, Sarah Hollinger and Dawn Pesco each scored for the Ephs, who got three saves

Williamstown Community Preschool Installs New Signage

WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass. — The Williamstown Community Preschool began sprucing up its new home by hiring local sign maker Lindsay Neathawk, owner of Neathawk Signs and Design, to create a 3D sign for the business.

Neathawk installed the sign late Monday afternoon that features multicolored hand prints from the children as the leaves of a tree poking out of the top. Underneath the name and address "a place to grow" is written. The children's hand prints were taken at the school and Neathawk then scanned them into her design programs to create the sign.
