Jewish Federation of the Berkshires' Dignity Drive04:02PM / Tuesday, May 03, 2022 | | PITTSFIELD, Mass. — The Jewish Federation of the Berkshires will accept new, Packaged menstrual and incontinence products from May 5 through May 31. Volunteers from the Jewish Federation of the Berkshires will be collecting the donations on a weekly basis and organizing them to be distributed through local food banks and social services organizations across the region. Williams College's Softball Coach Earns 800th Career Win10:22PM / Friday, April 29, 2022 | | WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass. -- Bailey Burger-Moore hit a walk-off single in the bottom of the seventh Friday to give the Williams College softball team a 6-5 win over Hamilton and coach Kris Herman the 800th win of her career. Burger-Moore went 2-for-4 with a home run, and Ronni Ramos and Mara Kipnis also homered for Williams. Elyse Chan earned the win in the circle, striking out a pair. Herman won 339 games in 16 seasons her alma mater, Tufts University, before coming to Williams in 2004. Williamstown Community Preschool Installs New Signage |
WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass. — The Williamstown Community Preschool began sprucing up its new home by hiring local sign maker Lindsay Neathawk, owner of Neathawk Signs and Design, to create a 3D sign for the business.
Neathawk installed the sign late Monday afternoon that features multicolored hand prints from the children as the leaves of a tree poking out of the top. Underneath the name and address "a place to grow" is written. The children's hand prints were taken at the school and Neathawk then scanned them into her design programs to create the sign.
