Community Contra Dance in Williamstown

WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass. — The North Berkshire Contra Dance will hold its monthly community contra dance on Saturday, Dec. 14, with live fiddle music, and all dances taught by caller Maggie McRae.   Contra dancing is contemporary based in a living tradition; some of the dances are hundreds of years old, some are recently composed, all are an enjoyable social activity on a cold winter's evening. New dancers and families with children are encouraged to arrive by 7:30 for instruction in the basics.   Maggie McRae will call (teach) all the dances. Clark Art Presents Reflections Gallery Talk

WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass. — On Tuesday, Dec. 17 at 11 am, the Clark Art Institute presents Reflections, a monthly gallery experience during which visitors are invited to engage with works of art from the Clark's collection.

The group will explore one or two artworks with the help of a Clark educator, working together to explore its meaning, find understanding, and raise questions. Distinct from a conventional gallery tour, Reflections provides an opportunity for close looking and introspection.

WCMA Announces Closure of Upper Galleries

Clark Art Participates in Williamstown's Holiday Walk Weekend
