SUMMER SUNDAYS @ 6 IN WILLIAMSTOWN SEEKS PARTICIPANTS
Riding on the success of two years of Summer Sunday festival fun, Summer Sundays @ 6 will be returning this year with even more music, more fun and more food. This year's series will expand from 4 to 5 consecutive summer Sundays: July 10th, 17th, 24th , 31st and August 7th with artisan sales starting at 2pm, music beginning at 4pm and special performances and participatory science activities at 6pm. Free outdoor movies at dusk, provided by Images Cinema, will close the first four festivals. All events are on Spring and Water Streets in Williamstown, MA. Information and schedules can be found at www.sundaysat6.com.

There is room in the schedule for more! Artisans, musicians or North Berkshire non-profit organization that want to participate should contact Judy Giamborino at the Williamstown Chamber of Commerce, 413/458-9077, sign up at www.sundaysat6.com or talk to other members of the Planning Committee. Become a part of this year's Summer Sundays @ 6!

Highlights this summer include:
  • Musical and performance groups featured at various Williamstown "downtown" venues on Spring and Water Streets. From folk to rock to jazz to afrobeat, some of the groups include Trophy Husband, Cafe Trio Budapest and Fenibo ... Harbour Grace will close us out on Aug. 7th with a block Dance from 6-9pm.

  • Artisans including potter Kae Yoshida and Love You so Dolls, among others, return to sell their art.

  • Where'd You Get That?! will host games on the lawn in front of their store followed by crazy science experiments.

  • Outdoor basketball and other street sports will be held on Latham Street.
Sundays@6 is a cooperative effort of the Williamstown Chamber of Commerce, Images Cinema, the Town of Williamstown, Williamstown Theatre Festival and Williams College. The Planning Committee consists of Judy Giamborino, Sandra Thomas, John & Janie Strachan, Mikki Brown, Elinor Goodwin, Paula Consolini, Michele & Ken Geitz, Mary Morrow, Jill Strawbridge. More information on the entire series is available on the Sundays@Six website at www.sundaysat6.com.
