Sweetwood Lecture Series Continues Jan. 18th: Lori Reamer, RD, Finding The Food That Fits

WILLIAMSTOWN Lori Reamer, RD, author of The Food That Fits: A Guide To Mastering Your Food Style, will present the January edition of the Sweetwood Lecture Series, “Finding the Food that Fits: Say Goodbye to Unsuccessful Food Fads and Hello to Lasting Food Style” at Sweetwood of Williamstown on Wednesday January 18, at 4:30pm. There will be a reception and book signing by Ms. Reamer to precede the lecture at 4:00pm. The lecture is free and open to the public.

Lori Reamer, RD - All The Food That Fits“Fashion and food are both an art and a challenge. Parachute pants and Snackwell cookies have something in common – they were both trendy mistakes.  Denim and fish also have something in common – they are and continue to be timeless classics which are always in style.” writes Reamer. This lecture will explore the foods that we can eat for good health and debunk the trendy food fads and diet hoaxes of poor health.

Lori Reamer has been a nutritionist for over 20 years, with almost half of her career at the Canyon Ranch Resort, 11-time winner of the Condé Nast Traveler Best Destination Spa Award.  While serving as the Director of Nutrition for seven years, she lectured and counseled over ten thousand individuals.  Awarded for delivering outstanding guest service and a decorated member of Canyon Ranch’s Speaker’s Bureau, she has received constant praise from audiences, clients and colleagues.

“We are delighted to bring to Sweetwood a fantastic speaker on such a timely and important topic as nutrition,” said John Krol, Jr. Executive Director of Sweetwood. “Even if you’ve already broken your New Year’s resolution, there’s never a bad time to learn about making healthier choices.”The Food That Fits
