If you’ve ever wanted to tell your story but wondered how to organize it or worried about creating a connection with an audience, this workshop will prepare you to bring your experiences to the stage through the intimacy of live storytelling. Using techniques developed in his popular REAL PEOPLE REAL STORIES series, Paul Ricciardi Ancram Opera House co-director and recipient of the 2018 Kennedy Center National Teaching Artist Award, will guide participants through exercises that will lead to a dynamic, performance-ready story. THE RUSSET TRIO

The Russet Trio makes its home in the Hudson Valley where they play a variety of traditional string band music. They have become a highly sought-after ensemble throughout the Northeast and beyond for contra and square dances, weddings and festivals, and this September they can be heard at the Oldtone Roots Music Festival in North Hillsdale, NY. Admission is free; a retiring collection to benefit the artists will be collected at the door as you head out to the reception on the front lawn (weather permitting). The festival will take place at the Great Barrington Fairgrounds on Saturday, June 30th from noon – 5 p.m. (VIP Hour from 11am – noon). In honor of all their hard work to keep the communities we love safe, Food Truck Festivals of America is pleased to offer free admission (with valid ID) to all first responders – police, fire and EMTs – during the 2018 festival season.General admission tickets are available for purchase in advance for $5 or at the gate for $10.
