The 39th annual Lenox Apple Squeeze will be held rain or shine in the historic downtown Lenox village. The event will feature nearly 150 food and crafts vendors and representatives from local cultural
venues and businesses. The two-day event will also feature musical performances as well as activities for children.

The opening celebration for SPECTRUM at MCLA Gallery 51, a blacksmithing demo with Benjamin Westbrook, the return of Marafanyi meets the Mural and more.

FALL FOLIAGE CHILDREN'S PARADE - YEAR OF THE DOG

Children from throughout the Northern Berkshire’s are encouraged to make costumes and enter the parade. This year’s theme is “Year of the Dog”. Reg. at 4:30PM in front of the First Baptist Church. Participants must arrive by 5pm. Parade begins at 5:30 PM and will proceed on Main St. to City Hall. Ribbons will be given to all participants. Group and float winners will be invited to participate in the Fall Foliage Parade on Sunday, September 30th. Please note that groups should be 10 or less children, as there are only 10 medals that will be awarded per category/prize. Annual Blessing of the Animals at St. Elizabeth of Hungary Church and Parish Center off St. Anthony Drive.11am. The Annual Blessing of the Animals is held on the same day as the Dog Parade. Sat Sept 29 11AM in the driveway between St. Elizabeth of Hungary Church and Parish Center off St. Anthony Drive by the statue of St. Francis of Assisi, patron saint of animals. Rev. Dariusz Wudarski will be blessing the animals. All types are welcome and will receive treats from parishioners

Meet at Veterans Memorial Park at the corner of Eagle Street and Route 2. Reg. @ 10am, Parade @ 10:30am. FREE but donations to local animal rescues accepted. All dogs are encouraged to participate. Owners are encouraged to make costumes and enter their dogs into this parade. This year’s parade theme is “Year of the Dog”. Categories are: funniest, best duo (owner and dog), best group (dogs), best small dog, best medium-sized dog, and best large dog. Prizes will be awarded following the parade and ribbons will be given to all participants. Dog parade winners will be invited to participate in the Fall Foliage Parade.
