The Berkshire Food Project will serve a free, traditional Thanksgiving meal, with two seatings. For those preferring a midday meal, turkey, mashed potatoes, squash, stuffing and pie will be served from 1 to 2 p.m. The menu will be repeated for those who prefer to come for their evening meal from 4 to 6 p.m. No reservations are needed. The Berkshire Food Project is located inside the First Congregational Church at 134 Main St.

CHAMBER HOLIDAY EVENT

The North Adams Chamber of Commerce will meet in the Holiday Inn of the Berkshires 40 Main St., the night of the tree lighting. There will be a voluntary donation of $20 or an unwrapped toy for a young child. All toys purchased at Persnickety Toys, 13 Eagle St., will receive a 20% discount and will be entered into a drawing for a $25 gift certificate. All toys and money collected will be donated to the Marine Toys for Tots Foundation.

Join us for a fun night out at our Holiday Quarter Auction at Bounti-Fare Restaurant! The South Williamstown Community Association will host its tree lighting at The Store at Five Corners. There will be carol singing and refreshments; bring a flashlight to see the words on the song sheets. Santa is planning to come.
