OWL PROWL AT THE BOULDERS, DALTON/PITTSFIELD

Join local naturalist, Rene Wendell, with The Nature Conservancy and BNRC staff on this guided Owl Prowl. Friday, March 16, 7:30pm-10:00pm Difficulty: Moderate Description: TNC naturalist, Rene Wendell will guide the group in calling and listening for owls. While it is possible, there is no guarantee of seeing or hearing an owl. This program involves night-time hiking on a 1.5 mile long moderate hiking trail. Please bring water, flashlight/headlamp and appropriate footwear (weather dependent: consider snowshoes or micro-spikes). Dogs will not be welcome on this hike. Directions: From Pittsfield, take Routes 8/9 east towards Dalton. Take a left onto Park Avenue. Take another left onto Gulf Road in about 0.5 miles. Trailhead parking is 0.25 miles ahead on the left.
