WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass. — James Joseph Crawford, 90, of North Adams, Mass., died Friday, January 26, 2018, at Williamstown Commons.
He was born in North Adams, Mass., on August 7, 1927, son of James Joseph and Ruth Mary (Stevenson) Crawford. He attended North Adams schools.
Jim was a veteran of World War II and served in the US Navy. He was last employed by Steinerfilm in Williamstown. Jim was a member of All Saints Episcopal Church.
Survivors include his wife, Marion Hazel (Belding) Ruhman Crawford, whom he married in 1969; and nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his brother, Matthew Raymond Crawford, who died on May 28, 1991.
Funeral notice: A memorial service for James Crawford will be held Saturday, February 10, 2018, at 11 a.m. at All Saints Episcopal Church. Burial will be in the spring in Southview Cemetery. There are no calling hours.
