WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass. — Rose Ida Franceschetti, 86, of Williamstown, Mass., and formerly of Readsboro, Vt., died Thursday May 31, 2018, at Williamstown Commons.
She was born in Readsboro, Vt., on October 13, 1931, daughter of Attilio and Rose (Gottardi) Franceschetti. She attended schools in Readsboro and was a life-long resident of the town. She was a communicant of St. Joachim's Church.
Survivors include four nieces, Judith Codogni and Denise Richardello, both of Williamstown, Jo-Ann Eldred of Staunton, Va., and Lori Hoyt of Bennington, Vt.; two nephews, Mark Franceschetti of Charlotte, Vt., and Timothy Franceschetti of Dover, Vt.; along with grandnieces and grandnephews.
She was predeceased by three sisters and one brother, including Leonilda Codogni, Ermida Franceschetti, Ines Franceschetti and Reno Franceschetti.
Funeral notice: A Liturgy of Christian Burial for Rose Franceschetti will be celebrated Thursday, June 7, 2018, at 10 a.m. at St. Joachim's Church in Readsboro, Vt. Burial will follow in Village Cemetery. There are no calling hours.
