Ronald J. Lepel, 79

WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass. — Ronald Joseph Lepel, 79, of Sun City West, Ariz., and formerly of Williamstown, Mass., died on Monday, July 2, 2018, at Dell Webb Hospital in Sun City West.



He was born in North Adams, Mass., on June 28, 1939 son of Alcide and Rita (Betourney) Lepel.  He graduated from high school in Quebec, Canada, and also attended Wentworth Institute of Technology. Ron was the longtime proprietor of the Boston Seafood Restaurant and Boston Fish Market in North Adams until moving to Arizona. For the past 14 years, he worked at Home Depot in Sun City West, where he was its top appliance salesman.



While in North Adams, he was a communicant of the former Notre Dame du Sacre Coeur Church. Ron enjoyed



Survivors include his wife, Lorraine Irene (Barbeau) Lepel, whom he married on November 28, 1964; one daughter, Renee Hanson and her husband, Martin, of Hancock, Mass.; one son, Daniel Lepel of Rensselaer, N.Y.; four grandchildren, Jason Pilot, Jacqueline Pilot, Zachary Hanson, and Kent Hanson; his Aunt Theresa Garofano; the cousins; and nieces and nephews.



His two brothers predeceased him: Paul Lepel and Roger Lepel.



Funeral notice: A Liturgy of Christian Burial for Ron Lepel will be celebrated Saturday July 21, 2018, at 10 a.m.at St. Elizabeth of Hungary Church. Burial will follow in Southview Cemetery.



Calling hours at are Friday, July 20, from 4 p.m. at Flynn & Dagnoli-Montagna Home for Funerals, West Chapel, 521 West Main St., North Adams, Mass. Memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society in care of the funeral home.
