Andrew D. Ledger, 58

WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass. —  Andrew D. Ledger, 58, of Saco, Maine, formerly of Williamstown, died Thursday, Nov. 5, 2020, at home. 



Born North Adams on May 20, 1962, son of Hazel Chicoine Ledger and the late David Ledger, he grew up in Williamstown and attended Mount Greylock Regional High School. He studied at Southern Maine Community College. 



Mr. Ledger worked for Portland (Maine) International Jetport as their maintenance supervisor. He also worked as an emergency room medical technician at Goodall Hospital and at several other medical facilities as a phlebotomist. When he first moved to Maine, he worked at AVX Corp. in Biddeford. Before moving to Maine, he worked with his father in their business Ledger's Logging.  



He was an avid fisherman and hunter and a member of the National Rifle Association. An avid sports fan, he loved the New England Patriots. In his younger years, he spent many weekends hiking with his father. He enjoyed boating on the ocean and backyard cookouts with family and friends.



Besides his mother, of Old Orchard Beach, Maine, he leaves his wife of six years, the former Cheryl Lionetta; his daughter, Isabella Ledger, at home; four stepchildren, Josh, Tyler, Mahrina, and Livia Lionetta, all of Saco; a son, Andrew Pratt of Pittsfield; three sisters, Ruth Miller and her husband, Mark, and Wanda Haley and her husband, Robert, all of North Adams, and Pam Shea and her husband, James, of Williamstown; his Aunt and Uncle Elaine and Lawrence Lenard of Williamstown; a nephew, Jeremy Miller of Buxton, Maine; four nieces, Jenna Haley Beagle, Christy Haley Superneau, Markell Shea, all of North Adams, and Cassidy Shea of Williamstown. 



He was predeceased by his Paternal Grandparents Oliver and Dorothy (Griffin) Ledger of Williamstown;  Aunt and Uncle William and Janet Wells of Ballston Lake, NY,  a nephew, Scott Miller of North Adams.

I am so sorry to hear about Andrew’s passing. I remember attending Andrew and your wedding. What an awesome day that was. I worked with Andrew for several years at Goodall Hospital which then became SMHC. He was an excellent ED tech. He always put his patients health and needs first and foremost.
