GREENSBORO, N.C. -- Williams kept a 1-1 tied game with Middlebury throughout regulation, then defeated the Panthers 3-2 in penalty kicks to claim the national title. The win gives the Ephs back-to-back national championship titles and third in the past four years.   Williams got on the board first with a goal from Aspen Pierson just under 28 minutes into the first half. WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass. — Iconic Williams College coach Renzie Lamb was remembered Friday as a man who met everyone on their own terms.   Lamb, 81, who died Nov. 17, was buried in Williams' cemetery after a Liturgy of Christian Burial at the college's Thompson Memorial Chapel.   Celebrant the Rev. WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass. -- Annie Rush scored early in the third period to break a 1-1 tie and send the Williams College women's hockey team to a 2-1 win over St. Anselm on Wednesday night.   The Ephs (3-1) erased a one-goal deficit midway through the second period when Gabi Montembeault scored a power play goal.   Abby Brustad and Meghan Halloran set up Rush for her first goal of the season, the game-winner, in the 45th minute.   Marissa Anderson stopped 29 shots to earn the win.   Williams hosts Wesleyan on Friday evening.

WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass. – Retired Williams College women's lacrosse coach Chris Mason will be inducted into the Western Massachusetts Lacrosse Hall of Fame on Jan. 23 in Springfield.   Mason led the Williams lacrosse program for 33 years before returning at the 2017 season.
