WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass. -- Audrey Thomas scored her 16th goal of the season in the 52nd minute on Sunday to send the Williams College women's soccer team to its first NCAA Division III Final Four in six years.

Kristi Kirshe set up Thomas for the game-winner, and Hannah Van Wetter made three saves in a 1-0 win over the College of New Jersey on Cole Field in the regional final.

“It brought tears to my eyes at first," Williams coach Michelyne Pinard said. "It really did. Now, it’s just pure joy. A year, if not more, in the making after the loss to Johns Hopkins last year. I couldn’t ask for anything more."

Williams improved to 20-1-1, winning 20 games for the first time in program history.

It will go for win No. 21 on Dec. 5 in Kansas City, Mo., against the same Johns Hopkins team that knocked out the Ephs in the Sweet Sixteen.
