WILLIMANTIC, Conn. -- Ellen Cook scored 21 points to lead the Williams College women's basketball team to a 70-64 win over Eastern Connecticut State on Sunday.
Kellie Macdonald scored 19 and grabbed a team-high seven boards for the Ephs (7-0), who got 14 points from Devon Caveney.
Jill Ritrosky scored 17 to lead Eastern Connecticut State (4-2).
Williams hosts Skidmore on Tuesday.
MEN'S BASKETBALL
SCHENECTADY, N.Y. – Hayden Rooke-Ley scored 21 points to lead the Williams College men's basketball team to an 83-77 win over Union on Sunday.
Dutchman Wade McNamara led all scorers with 23 points, shooting an impressive 82 percent from the field, including 4-for-5 from behind the 3-point arc for the Dutchman (3-2).
For Williams (5-2), Daniel Wohl registered a double-double, notching 19 points and 11 rebounds.
Williams will play travels to RPI on Tuesday.
