Cangelosi Shines in Two Wins for Williamstown Police

WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass. -- Joshua Polumbo had three hits and three RBIs to lead the Williamstown Police to a 21-6 win over Krispy Cone in Cal Ripken League play.
 
Seth Farnsworth, Thomas Martin and Jack Cangelosi each had two hits and two RBIs as the Williamstown Police improved to 3-0.
 
Xander Axt earned the win on the mound with five strikeouts. Jack Gitterman relieved Axt on the hill.
 
Cangelosi pitched 5-2/3 innings and had the game-winning hit in Williamstown Police's next win, a 5-4, come-from-behind victory over Adams Community Bank.
 
Polumbo finished the game on the mound, and Will McDonough had a strong game in right field.
 
Derek Paris had two hits to lead ACB, and Landen Jamula pitched four innings in a losing cause.
