WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass. -- Juli Raventos and Linda Shin teamed for an 8-2 win at No. 1 doubles and then each won a straight-set victory in singles to lead the Williams College women's tennis team to a 7-2 win over Middlebury on Saturday.

 

Williams, playing its first home match of the spring indoors, improved to 8-2 overall.

 

The Ephs host Wesleyan and Conn College on Sunday.

 

WOMEN'S LACROSSE

MIDDLETOWN, Conn. -- The Wesleyan College women's lacrosse team outscored Williams 7-2 in the second half to earn a 10-9 win on Saturday.

 

Emma Tenbarge and Micaela Dussel each scored three goals for the Ephs (4-6, 2-4 NESCAC), who got seven saves from Ana Alvarenga.

 

Williams travels to Hamilton on Tuesday.

 

MEN'S LACROSSE

WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass. -- Harry Stanton scored five goals to lead the Wesleyan men's lacrosse team to a 19-17 win over Williams.

 

Michael Fahey scored a game-high seven goals, and Thomas Fowler scored four for the Ephs (5-5, 2-4).

 

Williams hosts Hamilton on Tuesday.
