Williamstown Police, Adams Community Bank Open Ripken Season with Wins

LANESBOROUGH, Mass. -- Derek Paris and Jesse Cameron each homered Saturday to lead Adams Community Bank to a 14-4 win over Krispy Cones in the Majors Division on Opening Day of the Lanesborough Cal Ripken Baseball League.

Landen Jamula went 2-for-3 with three RBIs and combined with Paris for a one-hitter in the game, which was shortened to five innings.

Jamula struck out nine and allowed just one hit and one earned run in four innings of work.

Chase Doyle had the hit and scored a run for Krispy Cones.

Williamstown Police Win

WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass. -- Judge Martin and Alex Axt each had two RBIs Saturday to lead the Williamstown Police to an 8-3 Opening Day win over Countryside Landscape in the Majors Division of Cal Ripken Baseball.

Axt gave up one earned run in five innings to earn the win on the mound. Jack Cangelosi pitched a perfect sixth inning to close the game.

Zach Davignon and Ozzie Webber led Countryside’s offense. Davignon and Patel pitched two innings apiece in the loss.

iBerkshires.com Posts Tie

WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass. -- Tanner Davignon and Krishiv Malhotra turned a double play to highlight an Opening Day tie for iBerkshires.com against Harsch Associates on Saturday.
