Williamstown Police, ACB Win Again

WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass. -- Xander Art pitched a complete-game three-hitter Tuesday to lead Williamstown Police to a 7-4 win over Countryside Landscaping in Cal Ripken League Majors Division play at Bud Anderson Field.
 
Jack Cangelosi scored a pair of runs, and Thomas Martin played standout defense at first for Police.
 
Countryside’s Nick Lescarbeau doubled and hit his first career home run. Ozzie Weber, Tej Patel and Zach Davignon split time on the mound for Countryside.
 
ACB Tops Lee Hardware
LANESBOROUGH, Mass. -- Jackson Shelsy went 3-for-3 with two doubles to lead Adams Community Bank to a 12-6 win over Lee Hardware on Tuesday.
 
Landen Jamula went 3-for-3 with a double, and Derek Paris was 2-for-3 with a pair of doubles for ACB.
 
Jamula also went 3-⅔ innings on the mound, striking out seven while allowing one hit and seven walks. Shelsey closed out the game, striking out five and allowing one run in 2-⅓.
 
For Lee, Cam Redstone went 1-for-3 with a run scored on offense and went two innings on the mound.
