Lanesborough Bulldogs Open Tennessee Trip with Win

PIGEON FORGE, Tenn. -- Derek Paris doubled, drove in two runs and scored three on Thursday to help the Lanesborough Bulldogs 12-year-old Cal Ripken All-Stars defeat the Erie, Pa., Outlaws Silver team at the Leconte Experience tournament.
 
Landen Jamula went 2-for-2 with four RBIs, and Oscar Low went 2-for-3 for the Bulldogs (12-9).
 
Jack Cangelosi earned the win on the mound, striking out four and scattering four hits in four innings. Jamula finished up with one inning of one hit relief.
 
In the the Bulldogs' second game of the tournament, Lanesborough fell to the Connelsville Thunder, 9-6.
 
Cangelosi had two hits, including a double, and drove in a pair of runs.
 
Jamula, Paris and Low split time on the mound.
 
Lanesborough is scheduled for two games on Friday, against the Rockstars of North Carolina and the Sting of Michigan.
