WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass. -- Alex Bennett scored two goals and assisted on another Saturday to lead the Williams College field hockey team to a 3-1 win over Connecticut College.

 

Abby Lloyd and Emma Santucci combined for six saves to pick up the win in goal.

 

Williams (6-2, 4-2 NESCAC) hosts Skidmore on Tuesday evening.

 

Men's Soccer

WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass. -- Bobby Schneiderman stopped seven shots Saturday as the Williams College men played Connecticut College to a scoreless tie.

 

Williams (4-1-3) hosts Curry next Saturday.

 

Women's Soccer

WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass. -- Natasha Albaneze scored in the 102nd minute Saturday to give the Williams women's soccer team a 1-0, double overtime victory over Connecticut College.

 

Williams (7-0-1, 6-0-1) hosts Vermont's Castleton State on Sunday at noon.

 

Women's Volleyball

MEDFORD, Mass. -- The Tufts volleyball team Saturday defeated Williams, 25-18, 25-13, 25-22.

 

Alex Newton and Ally Ostrow had 12 digs apiece for the Ephs (5-8, 1-4), who go to New Paltz on Tuesday.

 

Football

HARTFORD, Conn. -- Max Chipouras ran for 80 yards and a touchdown for Trinity in a 17-9 win over Williams.

 

Bobby Maimaron threw for 164 yards, and Connor Harris had 70 yards rushing for the Ephs (2-1).

 

Williams hosts Bates next Saturday.
