'Baseball and the Berkshires' Offers Special Events this Weekend

LANESBOROUGH, Mass. -- The Baseball in the Berkshires exhibit at the Berkshire Mall will hold its next “Talkin’ Baseball” presentation on Saturday from noon to 1, when former minor league pitcher Peter Greenbush will be the guest speaker.
A North Adams native and former Colorado Rockies farm hand, Greenbush will be in the Baseball in the Berkshires Exhibit to meet, greet, sign autographs and talk baseball with all attendees.
Baseball in the Berkshires, in conjunction with the Berkshire Mall’s Malloween event, is presenting "Batmania: A History of Baseball Bats," presented by Larry Moore, outreach educator from the National Baseball Hall of Fame.
Come learn about the history of baseball bats and see, touch and handle bats from the 1850s to today, including bats from stars like Babe Ruth, Jackie Robinson, "Big Papi" David Ortiz, Don Mattingly, Bryce Harper, Mookie Betts, Dustin Pedroia, Miquel Cabrera, and Aaron Judge.
There will be two shows on Sunday, Oct. 29  at 1:15 and 4:15 p.m. in the Baseball in the Berkshire Exhibit.
