WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass. -- Roberto Cellini scored early in teh second period to break a 2-2 tie and send the Williams College men's hockey team to a 3-2 win over Wesleyan on Sunday afternoon.
Michael Pinios made 27 saves to earn the win in goal for the Ephs (7-4, 6-2 NESCAC).
The Cardinals (6-2-3, 2-2-2) scored first midway through the first, but Williams took a 2-1 lead on goals by Joe Welch and C.J. Shugart.
Wesleyan tied it with a goal in the 16th minute, and that is where it stood until Cellini scored his fourth goal of the season.
Williams goes to Brockport on Tuesday.
