WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass. -- David Italiano scored a power play goal and set up a goal to lead the Williams College men's hockey team to a 3-1 win over Manhattanville on Friday night.

 

Tyler Scott and Roberto Cellini each scored a goal, and Michael Pinios made 29 saves for the Ephs (9-4, 6-2), who host Plattsburgh on Saturday evening.

 

Women's Hockey

WATERVILLE, Maine -- Colby scored midway through the third period to tie Williams, 1-1, on Friday night.

 

Meghan Halloran had an unassisted goal, and Marissa Anderson stopped 21 shots for the Ephs (7-3-3, 2-2-3), who face Colby again on Saturday afternoon.

 

Men's Basketball

WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass. -- Eric Savage scored 13 points to lead Tufts to a 69-63 win over Williams as the Ephs took their first loss in the NESCAC season.

 

James Heskett scored a game-high 21 to lead Williams (11-3, 2-1), which hosts Bates on Saturday afternoon.

 

Women's Basketball

MEDFORD, Mass. -- Melissa Baptista scored 15 points to lead Tufts to a 47-40 win over Williams.

 

Kristin Fechtelkotter scored 12, and Maggie Meehan added 11 for the Ephs (9-6, 1-2), which goes to Bates on Saturday afternoon.
