Keon Jackson scored 12 points to lead the CYC seventh- and eighth-grade travel boys basketball team to a 45-39 win over Greylock on Saturday.
Mello Southard and Tymair Scott each scored nine points for CYC, which jumped out to a 32-17 lead at half-time.
"We were able to regroup and put a nice run together in the third to outscore them 18-3 to tie the game at 35," Greylock coach Rick Paris said. "But in the fourth, we missed six of seven from the line ... So we absolutely lost this one at the line.
"Hats off to the CYC boys. They played a physical tough game and just converted there free-throws today, making 10 of 16."
Chase Doyle scored 10 points with four rebounds, and Alex Axt and Tate Kuster each scored nine for Greylock.
