COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. -- The Colorado College men's lacrosse team used a 3-0 run in the last six minutes Friday to put a way an 18-14 win over Williams.
Colorado's Tyler Borko scored seven goals, including the last two in the final two minutes to break open a back-and-forth game.
Colorado College jumped out to an early 6-1 lead in the second quarter, but the Ephs (4-4) came back to briefly lead, 8-7, before going to the locker room tied at half-time.
The largest lead for either team in the second half was three goals until the closing minutes.
It was 15-14, Colorado, midway through the fourth after Kevin Stump's goal for the Ephs.
Cory Lund led Williams' offense with four goals and an assist. James McFarland had a hat trick for Williams.
George Peele stopped nine shots for Williams, which comes home to host Tufts on Wednesday evening.
