WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass. -- Jack Roberts went 3-for-5 with a triple to lead the Williams College baseball team to a 7-4 win over Trinity on Tuesday.
Mike Stamas had a pair of hits, and Alex Panstares tripled in a run for the Ephs (4-12), who used six pitchers in the win.
Charlie Carpenter got the win with two innings of work out of the bullpen, and George Carroll pitched a scoreless ninth to earn a save.
Hoosac Valley graduate Matt Koperniak went 2-for-4 with a walk and an RBI for the Bantams (9-10).
Men's Lacrosse
WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass. -- James McFarland and Kevin Stump each scored four goals to lead Williams to a 9-5 win over Hamilton.
George Peele made 13 saves for the Ephs (5-6, 4-3 NESCAC), who host Colby on Saturday.
Women's Lacrosse
CLINTON, N.Y. -- Emma Tenbarge scored five goals, and Williams held off a late comeback bid to earn a 12-11 win over Hamilton.
Williams (5-6, 2-5) took a 12-9 lead with 4:03 left, but the Continentals scored two minutes later and again with 35 seconds left on the clock to get witin one.
Olivia Gomez and Kara Wollmers each had a hat trick for the Ephs, who got a combined 14 saves from Kami Cisneros and Ana Alvarenga.
Williams goes to Colby on Saturday.
