Great Barrington Stays Perfect in Berkshire Adult Baseball League

ADAMS, Mass. -- Scott McFarland homered and drove in three runs, and Mickey Kammeyer had a pair of doubles to lead the Great Barrington Millers to a 12-7 over the Knights as the Millers stayed unbeaten in the Berskshire Adult Baseball League.
 
The Millers improved to 3-0 to stay atop the 20-year-old division of the league.
 
Housatonic also stayed perfect in the 20-year-old division, beating BBA, 3-1, to move to 2-0 on the season. Jared Habershaw threw four shutout innings, striking out seven, to earn the win on the mound.
 
Cornerstone defeated Lenox, 8-5, to take over third place in the division. Jeff Fields hit a bases-loaded double to drive in three runs in the win.
 
In the over-35 division of the BABL, the Adams Aces and Berkshire Bandits are each 2-0 and tied for first after wins this week.
 
The Aces beat the Thunder, 6-5, behind five innings and six strikeouts from Jeremy Broadwell.
 
The Bandits beat the Spiders, 5-1, as Tom Bishop homered, singled and drove in a pair.
 
The Aces take on the Spiders on Sunday morning at Hoosac Valley High School. The Bandits face Dalton at Wahconah High on Sunday morning.
 
In the 20-year-old division, Housatonic places two against the GB Millers starting at 10 a.m. Sunday at Maple Street Field in Lee.
