Foehl's 23 Help Mount Greylock Edge Hoosac Valley in Giorgi League

NORTH ADAMS, Mass. -- Toby Foehl scored 23 points and grabbed seven rebounds Thursday to lead the Mount Greylock boys basketball team to a 55-54 win in the high school division of the John Giorgi Summer Basketball League at Noel Field.
Derek Paris scored 11 points for the Mounties.
Hoosac got 12 points from Casey Meczywor to lead four players in double figures.
Josh Paree and Izaha Stubbs each had a double double. Paree scored 11 points and had 12 rebounds, and Stubbs finished with 11 and 11. Sam Larabee had 10 points.
In Thursday's other game, Drury beat McCann Tech, 79-45.
Reece Racette led the way with 24 points, and Scott McGuire had 20 for the Blue Devils, who got 18 from Hunter Sarkis.
Keeghan Vidal and Mike Williams each scored 12 for the Hornets, who got 10 points from Lucas Jamros.
On Sunday at Noel Field, league play continues when Yard Work by Dan faces Kingsbread/Flynn & Dagnoli at 6:30. Central Radio plays Fortitude Strength & Conditioning in the nightcap.
