Mount Greylock, Drury Advance to Giorgi League Final

NORTH ADAMS, Mass. -- Toby Foehl hit seven 3-pointers on his way to a 28-point night to lead the Mount Greylock boys basketball team to a 67-64 win over McCann Tech on Monday in the semi-finals of the John Giorgi Summer Basketball League.
 
Malcolm Waynick scored 15 points for the Mounties, who will face Drury, a 77-48 winner over Hoosac Valley, in Thursday's league final.
 
McCann Tech got 21 points from Keeghan Vidal and 19 points and 17 rebounds from Lucas Jamros.
 
Drury was led by Scott McGuire with 26 points and 10 rebounds. Hunter Sarkis scored 22, and Tim Brazeau added 12 for the Blue Devils, who got a double-double from Reece Racette with 10 points and 11 rebounds.
 
Hoosac Valley's Izaha Stubbs scored 19, and Nolan Roberts had 10.
 
On Tuesday at Noel Field, it is a double-header in the league's women's division starting at 6:30.
 
Teddy's Pizza takes on the Hoosac Women in the opener. Tony's Electric/The Print Shop/Flynn & Dagnoli faces Williamstown Physical Therapy in the nightcap.
