Jones' Game-Winner Lifts Williams Women in OT

WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass. -- Sydney Jones scored in the 98th minute Saturday to give the Williams College women's soccer team a 1-0 win over Farmingdale College.
 
Olivia Barnhill needed to make one save to earn the shutout win in goal.
 
Williams (9-0-1) hosts MIT on Sunday at 12:30 p.m.
 
Men's Soccer
MILTON, Mass. -- Jules Oberg scored on a header off a corner kick in the second minute to send Williams on its way to a 4-0 win over Curry College.
 
Gregory Andreou, Justin Adams and Bobby Fabricant each scored for the Ephs, who got two saves from George Taylor.
 
Williams (5-3-1) hosts Coast Guard on Tuesday.
 
Football
LEWISTON, Maine -- T.J. Dozier ran for 151 yards and a pair of touchdowns to lead Williams to a 31-7 win over Bates.
 
Williams (4-0) hosts Middlebury next Saturday.
 
Volleyball
WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass. -- Mia Weinland had 13 kills to lead Williams to a three-set win over Bates.
 
Alex Newton had 19 assists as the Ephs won, 25-20, 25-20, 25-19.
 
Williams (10-7, 4-3 NESCAC) goes to Trinity on Friday night.
 
Women's Golf
MIDDLEBURY, Vt. -- Cordelia Chan carded a 74 Saturday to lead Williams to first place after one day at the NESCAC Championships on the Ralph Myhre Golf Course.
 
Williams finished Round One of the two-day event with 320 strokes, one ahead of second-place Amherst.
 
The event is being held as part of the George Phinney Jr. Golf Classic; Williams also is in first place in that 11-school field going into Sunday's second and final round.
