To the Editor:

I am writing in support of Maria Ziemba's candidacy for the Northern Berkshire Registry of Deeds. She would be an excellent person to fill this important position. Over the years, I have had many occasions to visit the registry in different capacities, both for buying and selling real estate personally and for transactions as a realtor in Northern Berkshire County. My real estate transactions have always been very smooth because of Maria's knowledge and experience. I have also heard the same said of her knowledge and experience from the lawyers I have worked with on the real estate closings.

Maria is always there with a friendly greeting as you come into the office and she is incredibly knowledgeable and accessible. She is a great resource on all of the documents and history of the transactions in Northern Berkshire County Registry of Deeds. She has over 30 years' experience between working at the registry and at several lawyers offices that worked with the registry doing real estate transactions. She has helped me, and members of my family, research several questions we have had over the years with different properties that we were going to purchase or have owned. She has plans for how the records of the registry can be modernized and computerized. She is the best choice to lead the registry forward and I am confident that she will be a hands-on working register.

Please join me in casting your vote for Maria for the register position on Nov. 6. A vote for Ziemba is the "right choice."
