WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass. -- Cory Lund scored three goals and assisted on two more Saturday to lead the Williams College men's lacrosse team to a 16-14 win over Bates.

 

The Ephs had a five-goal lead entering the fourth quarter and hung on despite giving up four goals to the Bobcats.

 

Harry Gahagan stopped 12 shots for Willams (5-1, 3-1 NESCAC), which plays MIT in Colorado on Wednesday.

 

Women's Lacrosse

LEWISTON, Maine -- Bates' Katie Allard scored three of the game's last five goals to lead her women's lacrosse team to a 13-11 win over Williams on Saturday.

 

Claire Fitzpatrick scored four goals, and Kami Cisneros made nine saves for Williams (3-3, 1-3 NESCAC).

 

Williams goes to Pomona-Pitzer on Tuesday.
