Meehan Leads Williams Women's Basketball Past Hamilton

WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass. -- Maggie Meehan scored 17 points Friday to lead the Williams College women's basketball team to a 70-61 win over Hamilton.
Gabby Martin came off the bench to score 15, and Maddy Mandyck grabbed 12 rebounds for the Ephs (12-1, 1-0 NESCAC).
Williams hosts Amherst on Saturday afternoon.
Men's Basketball
CLINTON, N.Y. -- Kena Gilmour scored 28 points to lead Hamilton to a 79-78 win over Williams.
Cole Prowitt-Smith scored 25 to lead the Ephs (6-6, 0-1), who go to Amherst on Saturday.
Women's Hockey
HARTFORD, Conn. -- Chloe Heiting made 23 saves, and Paige Galle had two assists for Williams in a 2-0 win over Trinity.
Kelly McCarthy and Delaney Szlezyngier each scored a goal.
Williams (6-4-1) is back at Trinity on Saturday afternoon.
Men's Hockey
WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass. -- Williams took a 3-0 lead in the second period and held on for a 4-2 win over Wesleyan.
Nick Altmann, Max Fuld and Niko Karamanis each scored in the second period to build the lead for the Ephs.
Cosimo Lazzarino earned the win in goal with 20 saves.
The Ephs (8-3, 6-1) host Trinity on Saturday.
