One Treated After Single Car Crash on Main Street in WilliamstownBy Stephen Dravis, iBerkshires Staff

 Updated at 2:30 p.m. with information from the police report. WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass. – The Main Street bridge across the Green River was briefly closed to traffic on Tuesday morning after a single-vehicle accident left a car on its roof in the westbound lane. Officials at the scene said that the driver of the car was conscious and alert when taken from the scene by ambulance. The driver was the only occupant of the vehicle. Williamstown Police Tuesday afternoon identified the driver as Patricia Margaret Cumberbatch of Luce Road. None of the construction workers working on the bridge, which is undergoing reconstruction, were injured in the accident, 0 Comments

 WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass. — In response to a recent string of racist incidents on campus, Williams College last week announced the creation of a new panel to address the issue. President Maud Mandel, in an email communication to the college community, Thursday said she and the school's vice president for institutional diversity will convene an "Ad Hoc Anti-Racist Campus Task Force." The move comes after several incidents of graffiti on campus this fall and came three days after a member of a town committee joined voices questioning the college's response to those incidents.  WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass. — County chefs have banded together to support one of their own during a medical emergency. On Sunday, there will be two benefit events for Mezze Bistro and Bar's Nick Moulton, who learned that he has a cancerous brain tumor after suffering a grand mal seizure in late August.
A "Team Moulton" benefit event will take place at The Break Room at Greylock Works in North Adams from 2:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. and a "Cooks for Cooks" barbecue fundraiser is being held at Cantina 229 in New Marlborough from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
This will give the North and South County communities a chance to support Moulton and his family.

 BENNINGTON, Vt. — Patients who use the connector between the hospital and Medical Office Building will be asked to take an alternate route starting Monday, Nov.14, 2022, when the connector will be closed for construction. Patients are encouraged to use the Canopy Entrance for all entrances and exits of the hospital. This may require that patients repark between appointments in these two buildings.
