 WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass. — On Thursday, April 18 at 6 pm, the Clark Art Institute shows two films from director Saodat Ismailova, "ARAL: Fishing in an Invisible Sea" and "The Haunted." According to a press release: Journeying across natural, mythological, and sacred spaces, Ismailova's films mark cinematic time through Central Asian songs of everyday survival. The free screenings take place in the Clark's auditorium, located in the Manton Research Center. WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass. — From Monday, April 15 through Friday, April 19, the Clark Art Institute offers children and families fun activities and opportunities to see great art as part of April School Vacation Week. Visitors can pick up a set of Looking Carefully Cards, drawing pads, and complimentary colored pencils at the Clark Center Admissions desk to use while exploring the galleries and the grounds. Museumgoers are also encouraged to stop by the Clark's postcard station on the lower level of the Museum Building. There are two versions of the town flag; one in Town Hall and the other in the Hall of Flags at the State House. The 1753 House in Field Park is a recreation built for the town's bicentennial in 1965. WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass. — The Select Board has agreed to remove the town flag a year after town meeting established a bylaw restricting the use of flags on public property. The town flag has been prominently displayed behind the table in the Select Board meeting room for some time. Lazits has six home runs, five doubles and 13 RBIs in starting all 22 games for the Lions, who are 10-12 overall and 5-1 in the Ivy League heading into this weekend's games at Dartmouth.
