 NORTH ADAMS, Mass. — In partnership with the Northern Berkshire Community Coalition, the Clark Art Institute and MASS MoCA offer a free weekly artmaking club on Tuesdays from May 7 through Aug. 27, 2024 at the UNO Community Center, 157 River Street, North Adams. The drop-in art club sessions take place from 3:30–4:30 pm. Designed for children ages 8-19, Art Club was created by the Northern Berkshire Community Coalition (nbCC) in 2022. The Art Club is designed to provide children with free after-school and summertime activities. Snacks and supplies are provided. Children under age 8 must be accompanied by an adult. PITTSFIELD, Mass. – The CIAO Soccer Hall of Fame induction and scholarship banquet and presentations were held on Thursday, May 9, at Berkshire Hills Country Club in Pittsfield. The 2024 inductees were honored and 21 scholarships of $1,000 each were presented. Committee Chairmen Al Belanger and Patrick West introduced inductees and scholarship winners at the event. WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass. — The Planning Board on Tuesday agreed in principle to most of the waivers sought by Northern Berkshire Habitat for Humanity to build five homes on a Summer Street parcel. But the planners strongly encouraged the non-profit to continue discussions with neighbors to the would-be subdivision to resolve those residents' concerns about the plan.
