Williamstown Receives Wage Classification StudyBy Stephen Dravis, iBerkshires Staff 05:21AM / Friday, October 20, 2023 | | WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass. — The job classification and compensation study commissioned by the town will help the municipality attract and retain employees for years to come, the consultant said on Monday. "If you talk with comparable communities every year about what they're doing with the general [pay] increase … and if you take your ranges and adjust on average the minimum and maximum amount, you'll stay in the market," Joellen Cademartori told the Select Board at its Monday meeting. Williamstown Community Preschool Installs New Signage |
WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass. — The Williamstown Community Preschool began sprucing up its new home by hiring local sign maker Lindsay Neathawk, owner of Neathawk Signs and Design, to create a 3D sign for the business.
Neathawk installed the sign late Monday afternoon that features multicolored hand prints from the children as the leaves of a tree poking out of the top. Underneath the name and address "a place to grow" is written. The children's hand prints were taken at the school and Neathawk then scanned them into her design programs to create the sign.
