The manufactured home issue came to the board in the form of a proposal from Chair Peter Beck, who suggested that rather than allowing manufactured housing by right on any residential property the town could allow manufactured homes as accessible dwelling units to existing homes. At its Aug. 1 meeting, the Comprehensive Plan Steering Committee worked through members' concerns about specific language in the draft document, including in a 75-point implementation plan that consumes eight pages in a 42-page document.
