The talk is presented in conjunction with the Clark’s "Promenades on Paper: Eighteenth-Century French Drawings from the Bibliothèque nationale de France exhibition," on view through March 12. The week offers children and families fun activities and opportunities to see great art. Every day of Kids' Week, visitors can pick up a set of complimentary colored pencils at the Admissions desk, along with one of the always-available drawing pads. While visiting, museumgoers are encouraged to stop by the Clark's new postcard station on the lower level of the Museum Building. WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass. — The Select Board on Monday voted to allocate $225,000 in American Rescue Plan Act funds to the Williamstown Fire District's new station building project. The rest of the town's remaining unallocated ARPA funds, nearly $1.2 million, will go toward general town infrastructure projects, according to votes taken by the board on Monday. Those projects will be determined by the town manager, who may need to come back to the board for subsequent votes to approve specific actions to obligate the money, Andy Hogeland pointed out during Monday's discussion.  NORTH ADAMS, Mass. – Sawyer Moser Monday scored 20 points to lead the Berkshire Arts and Technology Charter Public School basketball team to a 58-40 win over Hadley's Hartsbrook School in the River Valley Athletic League tournament. The Wolf Pack used a 15-2 run in the first quarter to take control of the game, and the margin never dipped below 12 points the rest of the way. Corey Lynch scored 15, and Matt Lizzo scored 11 for BArT in a game played at the Armory. Ivan Chen added seven points in a game that doubled as Senior Day for BArT, which saw its regular season finale canceled due to weather. Clark in Talks to Buy Buxton LandStaff Reports,

WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass. — The Clark Art Institute is purchasing the 114-acre Buxton School property in an agreement that will allow the private school to continue operating independently. Officials say this will ensure the long-term stability of the century old school. "As a small school focused on art, academics, and community, this is a historic opportunity for Buxton to ensure that the school and its mission are strengthened for years to come," Head of School Peter Beck said in the statement. But the last substantive votes of the night were preceded by a lengthy debate among committee members about how to balance the funds sought in the largest applications against the panel's stated goal to carry over 10 percent of its available funds to FY25. WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass. — The Mount Greylock Regional School Committee on Thursday decided to begin the process of sending a bond authorization vote to its member towns' annual town meetings this spring in order to finance a track and field project at the middle-high school. In a vote of 6-1, the committee voted to ask voters in Lanesborough and Williamstown to approve up to $1.8 million in borrowing toward what is currently estimated to be a $4.125 million project.
