Clark Art Airs Pruduction of 'The Magic Flute'

Clark Art Exhibition on French Artists Who Challenged Realism

Mount Greylock School Committee Discusses Collaboration Project with North County Districts

Williamstown Board of Health Looks to Regulate Nitrous Oxide Sales

WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass. — The Board of Health last week agreed to look into drafting a local ordinance that would regulate the sale of nitrous oxide.   Resident Danielle Luchi raised the issue, telling the board she recently learned a local retailer was selling large containers of the compound, which has legitimate medical and culinary uses but also is used as a recreational drug.   The nitrous oxide (N2O) canisters are widely marketed as "whippets," a reference to the compound's use in creating whipped cream. Also called "laughing gas" for its medical use for pain relief and sedation, N2O is also used recreationally — and illegally

Annual 1753 House Carol Sing in Williamstown

WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass. — The Finance Committee on Thursday looked at a bleak fiscal forecast for the town and heard from a Planning Board member who is working on a plan that could help to partly reverse the trend.   Town Manager Robert Menicocci and Finance Director David Fierro Jr. showed the panel a chart projecting a possible course for town finances based on the current trend line.   The bottom line is that the town's excess levy capacity — the sum that it could raise through taxation without a Proposition 2 1/2 override vote — would disappear in 10 years.   In other words, if current trends for municipal spending and revenue continue, the town could

Clark Art Collage Club Returns
