Clark Art Participates in Williamstown's Holiday Walk Weekend 04:03PM / Wednesday, November 29, 2023 | | WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass. — The Clark Art Institute joins in the community-wide celebration of the holidays during Williamstown's 40th Annual Holiday Walk weekend, held the first weekend in December. The Clark kicks off the festivities on Dec. 1 with a live concert by Johnny Irion and U.S. Elevator. On Dec. 2, the Clark hosts art-making activities and horse-drawn carriage rides. The Institute's popular First Sundays Free program continues on Sunday, Dec. 3. On a vote of 4-1, the five-person board endorsed the 70-page final draft of "Envisioning Williamstown 2035," which replaces the planning document previously known as the town master plan, last drafted in 2002. Brown, a sophomore at MCLA, led the Trailblazers in digs, with 3.27 per set, and was third on the team in kills with 2.29 per set. She played in all 26 of MCLA's matches, starting 25, and had a season-high 18 kills in a five-set loss to Westfield State. Brown was named second-team all-league last fall after her first season at MCLA. The Planning Board OK'd the parking plan for the site at 562 Main St. (Route 2), and the Zoning Board of Appeals approved the development plan and granted several special permits needed to execute the project.
