Williamstown Rural Lands Farm Visit

WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass. — Williamstown Rural Lands (WRL) will tour and learn about micro-scale farming at Bigfoot Farm on Sunday, July 10, at 10 a.m.    Learn how farmer Brian Cole produces a diversity of veggies using sustainable farming techniques. Now in his fifth year on one acre of leased farmland, Cole has made strides in learning what it takes to achieve economic success farming at a micro-scale.   While touring his farm, attendees can ask questions. Williams College Museum of Art Summer Program Series 'Immersions'

WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass. — The Williams College Museum of Art (WCMA) invites visitors to immerse themselves in a summer program series titled Immersions.    Each program is inspired by the themes, histories, and practices that weave through the museum's summer exhibitions, such as healing, folklore, the five senses, and migration.    Programs will be held at 5:30 p.m. and will be followed by receptions on the WCMA patio at 6:30 p.m. The galleries will remain open until 8 p.m.   The series opens on Thursday, July 7, at 5:30 p.m. with Brooklyn-based medieval music ensemble Alkemie making their Berkshires debut with a performance of "Verdant Medicine:

Field Farm Sculptures 'Witnesses' to Land's History

Artist Rose B. Simpson says her is about questioning histories and perceptions and finding connections.  WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass. — Twelve cast-concrete figures loom over the meadows at Field Farm, their haunting gaze challenging the onlooker to consider the generations of marginalized people and cultures who had their voices silenced by colonization.    Artist Rose B. Simpson said the statues act as witnesses and a reminder of the land's history. Fourth of July Festivities Include Parades, Fireworks

Williamstown Housing Officials: CPA Grant Not in Conflict with Section 8 Needs

Williamstown Select Board Finds Diversity Training Program for Town Personnel
