This time, the inn was the topic of conversation. Health Inspector Ruth Russell told the board on Monday morning that the town had received "a couple of complaints" about the guest rooms at the 1896 House. In June, the 6 House Pub, which has the same owner as the motel, was before the board about a boil water order. On Monday, Russell told the board guests at the inn reported complaints that fell under the board's purview as well as one that she referred to the town's wiring inspector. Teams Sought for 25th Monument CupCommunity submission, 09:57AM / Monday, September 09, 2024 | | GREAT BARRINGTON, Mass. -- Registration is ongoing for the 25th annual Monument Cup 3-on-3 youth soccer tournament. The event will be held on Sunday, Sept. 29, at Monument Mountain Regional High School. Teams of up to four players are eligible to compete in boys and girls divisions in the under-10, under-12 and under-14 age groups. The registration fee is $100 per team, and all teams are guaranteed at least three matches with the top four teams in each division advancing to the semi-finals. Space is limited. Williamstown Rotary Helps Food Pantry12:22PM / Saturday, September 07, 2024 | | WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass. — On Saturday, Aug. 24, the Williamstown Rotary Club pitched in to help the Williamstown Food Pantry. The Pantry distributes shelf-stable food and home supplies to the community two Wednesdays a month. It is located at the Parish Center of Sts. Patrick and Raphael Catholic Church in Williamstown. This year the Rotary Club provided the Food Pantry with a grant from the Rotary district, and the local Club cleaned up the space, installed a handrail, sorted and rotated the inventory, and bought a new freezer.
