 WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass. — Two students will be the speakers for Mount Greylock Regional School's 2024 graduation ceremonies on Saturday, June 8, at 11 a.m. in the school gymnasium. Judge P. Martin was chosen to speak by the graduating class and Vincent P. Welch was selected by the faculty. The high school provided the following information about their educational and athletic achievements. Martin has shown dedication to academic excellence and his athletic prowess has been remarkable.  WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass. — The Board of Health on Monday voted unanimously not to revoke the license of a South Williamstown restaurant that has been operating under a boil water order from the state Department of Environmental Protection since December. Instead the board ordered the '6 House Pub to use more prominent signage to notify patrons of the order, called for more frequent inspections by the town's health inspector and warned the restaurant that even one instance of E. coli contamination tied to the establishment will be grounds for revocation. PITTSFIELD, Mass. -- Jay Santangelo of Lenox was the top nonbinary runner at the Berkshire Pride 5K on Sunday. Santangelo covered the 5-kilometer course in 27 minutes, 14.53 seconds to place 16th overall among 94 finishers. Pittsfield's Cam LaFerriere was the overall winner in 22.45.72, a 7:19 mile pace. LaFerriere finished 24 seconds ahead of Canaan, N.Y.'s, Thomas Salaatte in second place (23:09.52). WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass. — As expected, incumbents Lindsay Neathawk and David Moresi won re-election to three-year seats on the Prudential Committee on Tuesday. Williamstown Fire District Clerk Sarah Currie reported Tuesday morning that 27 residents turned out at the polls at Williamstown Elementary School for the district election; there were no contested races on the ballot. A small crowd of residents convened for the district annual meeting that followed the election. All articles on the meeting warrant passed unanimously. This Memorial Day weekend, the members of Post 152 officially rededicate the Simonds Road headquarters from Richard A. Reuther Post 152 to J. Michael Kennedy Jr. Post 152, in honor of the longtime member who died in May of last year.
