WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass. — The class speaker for the 104 graduates of Mount Greylock Regional School apologized for the wild and crazy antics of the class of 2024. "Our class was not that easy. We came into this brand-new school like a bull in a china shop. It was crazy," Judge Martin said. Students came into the middle school from surrounding towns, and "with that mix of kids, chaos happened."  WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass. – A Williamstown farm that has been on the market for several years was purchased this week, but the purchaser has declined to talk about its plans for the property. On Monday, the real estate agent listing the Green River Farms property in South Williamstown confirmed that a deal had closed on the property and directed inquiries to an employee of an Alabama-based farm consulting company named Understanding Agriculture. North Berkshire Community Dance will hold its monthly contra dance with calling by Peter Stix, and live music provided by an open band. All are welcome.  WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass. — The Board of Health on Monday voted unanimously not to revoke the license of a South Williamstown restaurant that has been operating under a boil water order from the state Department of Environmental Protection since December. Instead the board ordered the '6 House Pub to use more prominent signage to notify patrons of the order, called for more frequent inspections by the town's health inspector and warned the restaurant that even one instance of E. coli contamination tied to the establishment will be grounds for revocation. PITTSFIELD, Mass. -- Jay Santangelo of Lenox was the top nonbinary runner at the Berkshire Pride 5K on Sunday. Santangelo covered the 5-kilometer course in 27 minutes, 14.53 seconds to place 16th overall among 94 finishers. Pittsfield's Cam LaFerriere was the overall winner in 22.45.72, a 7:19 mile pace. LaFerriere finished 24 seconds ahead of Canaan, N.Y.'s, Thomas Salaatte in second place (23:09.52). WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass. — As expected, incumbents Lindsay Neathawk and David Moresi won re-election to three-year seats on the Prudential Committee on Tuesday. Williamstown Fire District Clerk Sarah Currie reported Tuesday morning that 27 residents turned out at the polls at Williamstown Elementary School for the district election; there were no contested races on the ballot. A small crowd of residents convened for the district annual meeting that followed the election. All articles on the meeting warrant passed unanimously.
