Sunshine will give way to clouds and some possible showers this afternoon, according to Accuweather. Expect similar temperatures Friday but with more clouds. A light shower can be expected in the afternoon. Showers will continue on and off throughout the night. There is a chance scattered thunderstorms. Williamstown Fire Building Committee Looks to Press National Grid on Interconnection IssueBy Stephen Dravis, iBerkshires Staff 05:42AM / Thursday, June 22, 2023 | | WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass. — The Fire District's Building Committee discussed on Wednesday how it could put pressure on National Grid to upgrade the town's infrastructure to accommodate plans for a new net-zero fire station and other potential solar projects in town. At issue is the district's application for interconnection with the utility's electrical service line. The plan is to build a connection that will allow the district to both draw electricity from the grid and feed power to it from the solar arrays planned at the Main Street station. Williamstown Community Preschool Installs New Signage |
WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass. — The Williamstown Community Preschool began sprucing up its new home by hiring local sign maker Lindsay Neathawk, owner of Neathawk Signs and Design, to create a 3D sign for the business.
Neathawk installed the sign late Monday afternoon that features multicolored hand prints from the children as the leaves of a tree poking out of the top. Underneath the name and address "a place to grow" is written. The children's hand prints were taken at the school and Neathawk then scanned them into her design programs to create the sign.
