Clark Art Gallery Tour Celebrating Public Library

WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass. — On Saturday, April 27 at 2 pm, the Clark Art Institute hosts a gallery tour exploring works of art made in 1874.    The first Impressionist exhibition in Paris took place in 1874; that same, significant year, the Williamstown Public Library was founded. Led by art historian Jock Brooks, the gallery tour is presented as part of the Williamstown Public Library's 150th anniversary celebration. The tour meets in the Clark's Museum Pavilion.   Free with gallery admission. Capacity is limited. Visitors may pick up a ticket at the Clark Center Admissions desk on a first-come, first-served basis.

Clark Art Presents Book Talk With Poets

WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass. — The Clark Art Institute's popular series of foraging walks returns this April.    On the fourth Tuesday of the month from April through September, naturalist and wild edibles enthusiast Arianna Alexsandra Collins guides visitors across the Clark's 140-acre campus in a one-hour talk.
