WILLIAMSTOWN – Sweetwood of Williamstown Retirement Living Community will host a Kentucky Derby Day Open House from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, May 5th to further reintroduce the community to Sweetwood, tour the building and living units, including recently renovated model apartments. Consistent with the theme, and with the Kentucky Derby taking place later in the day, refreshments will include strawberry juleps, and other derby-themed refreshments and food, such as pulled pork sliders, pickled shrimp, black-eyed pea salad, and bourbon truffles. In addition, music will be provided by Andy Kelly’s Sister City Jazz Ambassadors. Those attending are encouraged to join staff and residents at Sweetwood by dressing in their finest derby attire, including signature derby hats.
 Sweetwood is located at 1611 Cold Spring Road (Route 7) in Williamstown.
